Our singles line-up was headed by Kairangi Vano who defeated the pocket rocket Lucy Barlow in straight sets 6-2 7-6. The next match consisted of Rosie Cheng vs good friend Mia Middleton.Rosie winning 6-3 6-4. The third contest in the singles was a default win by Mairangi Bay Teagan Ross over Campbells Bay Kelly Drew who had to withdraw in the third set due to side strain. The forth single match saw our Club Champion Hine Wilson take on Sarah Wardenburg. Hine took the first set 6-4 lost the second set 6-0 and came back for a fine win in the third set 6-3.That gave Campbells Bay a 7 points to head the league table on 15 points on two rounds

This week sees the Chelsea Cup champions Prestige Reality Men’s Campbell’s Bay team commence their defense against Beachhaven. If you think Adam is a good coach he is a better tennis player. Over the last three years that Adam has played for Campbells Bay he has led a team that has won two Chelsea Cups.Make sure you come and watch him play.(Come all you juniors come and support your coach.) Josh Mark will also be playing so come down and support them.
